In 1993, Medicare passed the Therapeutic Shoe Bill, in which insulin or non-insulin dependent diabetic patients may be entitled to one pair of shoes and three pairs of orthotic inserts every calendar year.

With the Medical Resources Limited Diabetic Shoe Program, there is:

    • You can generate $200 plus with each pair of diabetic shoes and orthotic inserts for each qualified medicare patient annually.

  • DMEPOS (Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthesis, Orthotics, & Supplies) number
